Netflix is giving fans of The Sandman a first look at season 2!
On Tuesday (June 17), Netflix released a trailer for the second and final season of The Sandman. The new season will consist of 11 episodes and will be split into two volumes. Volume 1 will be the first six episodes and premieres July 3 while volume 2 has the final five episodes of the season and premieres July 24.
A bonus episode that follows Death, played by Kirby Howell-Baptiste, will be released on the streaming service on July 31.

Netflix’s description for season 2 of the adaptation of Neil Gaiman‘s comic series reads: “After a fateful reunion with his family, Dream of the Endless (Tom Sturridge) must face one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the epic fallout of his past misdeeds. To make amends, Dream must confront longtime friends and foes, gods, monsters, and mortals. But the path to forgiveness is full of unexpected twists and turns, and true absolution may cost Dream everything.”
