Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia Spencer, nieces of the late Princess Diana, are true habituées of the Cartier Queen’s Cup Polo, the historic sporting event that gathers so many British high society personalities between the fields of Egham, Surrey, every year.
The occasion, as always, turned into a catwalk of boho chic looks, although this year Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia Spencer left sophisticated ankle-length dresses with a bon ton flair in their wardrobes, opting instead for unusual and very coordinated mini-dresses.
Both strapless and featuring a long row of buttons, the two sisters’ cream-colored dresses look very similar although the designs are different. Lady Eliza and Amelia Spencer often coordinate stylistically, each customizing their outfit in their own ways.
Lady Eliza decided to complement her mini dress embellished with lapels and welt pockets with a pair of rope wedges and gold bands for a summery feel. She accessorized with a taupe handbag by Aspinal of London, a favorite brand among the royals, including Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall.
Lady Amelia Spencer, on the other hand, did not forgo the chic touch of a pair of ballet flats, perhaps slingbacks. For her, too, however, the bag is the same, the classic Mayfair model from Aspinal of London, with white tones with a chain strap.
