Following her incendiary singles “There I Go” and “Good Graces” this year, London alternative R&B and soul artist Lucy Park releases her sophomore EP Good Graces – a punchy, charismatic, and thoughtful body of work that will continue the growing attention around Lucy as one of the brightest new voices in the UK landscape.
Opener “Only Ever” sets the tone for the project – a polished, up-tempo track that introduces Lucy’s blend of power, defiance and quiet emotion over soulful piano chords and snappy percussion. Leading into the lilting, bossa nova-influenced “There I Go” – an ode to bittersweet endings and the embrace of change, it’s Lucy’s distinctly dry, London sentiment that takes centre stage. With the dreamy title track “Good Graces” delivering a blend of hypnotic melody and staccato drum loops, Lucy dips into retrospective musings that remain post relationship. “Let Him Go” offers a beautifully
pared-back, acoustic reflection on moving on, her soft vocal touches dancing with the flecks of guitar to powerful effect. “Oolong” pushes back into an earthy, jazz/ trip-hop instrumental and the final flourish of “PLUMERIA” bends a deliciously funked-out bassline and woozy vocal pitch to give a heady slice of summer haze and celebration.
Delving into the story behind the project, Lucy tells us: “This project is about the past year of my life where I moved from LA to London, went through a breakup, and turned twenty-five (oop now 26). It walks you through the ups and downs of adjusting to this new chapter and how I find my sense of place, strengthen friendships, reconnect with family, and create a new sense of independence.”
Following on, Lucy adds: “Wherever you are at in your life – whether it’s struggling through your mid-twenties along with me or if you totally have your shit together, I think there will be something in here for you. Hope you like it!”
Canadian country artist B Fabian will release his latest single, “Let It Slide,” on May 16. The track is the newest preview of his upcoming album ENDEAVORS and marks another step in his growing reputation for raw, heartfelt storytelling rooted in lived experience.
Anchored by a classic walking bass line and a weathered guitar groove, “Let It Slide” captures the moment when a person chooses peace over pride. With easy charm and a hint of grit, B Fabian paints a picture of what it means to keep your head high while letting the rest roll off your back. Whether it’s a cold goodbye, a broken bond, or a past that no longer belongs to you, the song nods to the quiet strength it takes to move forward without making a scene.
The track blends the heart of traditional country with the tone of someone who’s been through it and came out softer, not harder. B Fabian’s relaxed yet expressive vocal delivery gives weight to the message: some things just aren’t worth carrying anymore.
The track is grounded in a mindset of acceptance; acknowledging that things fall apart, people make mistakes, and hearts sometimes break. Instead of getting stuck in the weight of it all, the song leans into the quiet relief of letting go.

DJ, producer, and sound engineer Mister Joshooa makes his debut on Carl Craig’s legendary Planet E Communications with the Settle Down EP.
Comprising four raw, psychedelic cuts, Settle Down channels the spirit of Detroit’s underground, showcasing Mister Joshooa’s lucid, far-out take on house music. A fixture behind the decks at local institutions like TV Lounge and Lincoln Factory, Joshooa brings deep roots and a singular perspective to the release—his first solo outing on Planet E, following a previous appearance on Carl Craig’s Detroit Love Vol. 2 compilation.
Opening cut “Settle Down” is a rolling, rubbery jam built around a hypnotic bassline, vibrant live percussion, and warped vocals—pure late-night energy. “Snake Oil” strips things back to a tunneling groove, delivering a deep, psychedelic floor tool that glimmers with understated power. On the flip, “Stop Me” drifts into stranger territory with eerie melodies, oddball FX, and a woozy swing while “Step Up” delivers the rawest punch—crunchy drum machines, dark synth swells, and mutant techno textures..
With Settle Down, Mister Joshooa places himself firmly in Planet E’s vanguard of forward-thinking electronic artists, honoring Detroit’s past while pushing into new sonic terrain.
The Settle Down EP is out now via Planet E Communications.

Rising pop artist Laura Pieri returns today with “Sea of Tragedy (On The Dancefloor),” a dance-driven reimagining of the emotionally raw fan favorite from her 2024 Frankie EP. The track arrives hot on the heels of her recent release, “Flown Away,” and will appear on Frankie On The Dancefloor, the forthcoming expanded edition of Frankie, set for release this summer.
Produced by Skyler Cocco and YXSH, this remix leans into Pieri’s love of pulsing rhythms, shimmering synths, and cathartic pop hooks—transforming melancholy into movement. “‘Sea of Tragedy’ is one of those songs that started in total heartbreak and disillusion,” Pieri shares. “But on this version, she’s got glitter on her cheeks. She may still be crying, but she’s crying in the club now—and that’s kind of the magic of pop music to me.”
“Sea of Tragedy (On The Dancefloor)” captures the emotional whiplash of post-breakup nights out. Pieri adds, “If Flown Away was the montage of a breakup, this one’s the chaotic night out right after. It’s sad, sparkly, and kind of unhinged, but in the best way. Basically? She’s tragedy… but make it hot.”

Montreal-based multi-hyphenate TDJ unveils her first single of the year, a soft-focus, serotonin-tinged collaboration with Clara Kimera. “On and On (You Lie)” is out now via Collection Disques Durs/All Night Long.
The track carries TDJ’s unmistakable blend of trance-pop nostalgia and emotional clarity—gentle, but driven by just enough dancefloor propulsion to make you want to throw your hands in the air. It’s a glimmering prelude to what’s next from an artist who continues to reach for something bigger, brighter, and unfiltered.
A singer, lyricist, and producer in her own right, Clara Kimera brings vulnerability to the track. Her lyrics—“I waste my life for us / You lie / Don’t wake me”—feel suspended between dream and disillusionment. Together, TDJ and Kimera craft something intimate yet expansive: a delicate anthem for anyone who’s ever longed to stay inside a beautiful illusion just a little longer. The accompanying video builds on that feeling, starring both artists in a hazy, magic-hour odyssey with Sailor Moon energy and the emotional core of a coming-of-age fantasy. Soft lighting and surreal flourishes make the video feel like a memory just out of reach, equal parts joy and melancholy.

Delicately crafted instrumentation provides groundwork for Soane’s smooth vocals and captivating tone on “Bluer Skies”. multi-platinum pop singer/songwriter John K releases his new single “River,” a bright ballad that finds optimism in one of the hardest facts of human existence: our impermanence. The moving song is the latest single taken from John K’s upcoming album and follows the announcement of his SALT + LIGHT Tour: Part 1. Get “River” via Epic Records at all DSPs HERE.
“River” starts intimately — with John K’s voice coming in close over softly plucked guitar — and builds to an arena-sized sound fit to score a cinematic sunset. Similarly, the lyrics connect the personal to the universal. In one verse, the Orlando-based artist considers how miraculous it is that he and his partner are alive at the same time. In another, he zooms out to the bigger picture: “Would we get excited about a first kiss if there wasn’t a last one? / Would we know a good day if we never got through a bad one?”
“I wrote this after a conversation with my wife that cracked something open in me. It’s about how nothing lasts, but that’s actually what makes life so heartbreakingly beautiful,” says John K. “Hold the people you love close, forgive someone sooner, have grace, and be present because it doesn’t last forever. You can paddle your hardest to get through it, or you can put the paddle on your lap, relax, and enjoy the ride.”
