Jhaleil Swaby is the latest new addition to the cast of the upcoming The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping!
The actor, who most recently starred in Prime Video‘s The Lake, has joined the cast of the next installment in The Hunger Games franchise.
“Deadass on some hunger games shiii… 😈,” he shared on Instagram with the news.

According to Deadline, Jhaleil will be playing Panache, who is a “crude and aggressive career tribute from District 1, known for his arrogance and ruthlessness.”
Jhaleil‘s past credits also include the movies White Dog, Stay the Night and Shazam!, as well as TV shows including Supergirl, The Next Step and Star Trek: Discovery.
Sunrise on the Reaping takes place “twenty-four years before the events of The Hunger Games, starting on the morning of the reaping of the Fiftieth Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell.” It centers on a 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy, who was played by Woody Harrelson in the original Hunger Games franchise.
